As you may have already heard, all HDD manufacturers are experiencing serious supply issues due to the flooding problems in Thailand. Our suppliers have notified us that they are extremely limited in their ability to provide HDDs for the next 6 months. Presently, most of the existing stock in the market has been pre-allocated to the major PC manufacturers. As a result, DVR manufacturers are having difficulties getting sufficient HDD stock and the prices have been rising.
CBC is trying its best to overcome this situation with minimal affects to our customers by limiting the HDD sizes on some DVR models. CBC (Ganz) will be limiting DVR options to the following models:

DR16HV-1TB
DR8HV-500
DR4HL-500
DR16NRT-1TB
Due to this shortage there is a temporary surcharge of $70 for 500GB models and $100.00 per TB on models with increased storage.
